🤔 So is there really a difference between TUMMIES baby food and SHELVE stable baby food?

Well, YES! There is a few! And all of these can lead to some kind of "issue" later on.

Shelve stable products that contain more fruits, create this smooth, jelly-like texture. Most of these flavours have added corn starch, stabilizer, and cane sugar that does not resemble the true flavour and most importantly true TEXTURES of the product. Most of the flavours do not contain savory flavours. If there is any savory flavours available, chances are most parents won`t even try it.

You see, it`s almost like sipping down a smooth yogurt drink vs eating a salad or food that you have to chew.

Babies will choose the easier one of the two. Just swallowing a fruity puree is much easier than "chewing" a textured food, BUT it`s so important for them to get those muscles moving.

Even the "next phase" ranges of shelve stable pouches are not coursed enough to encourage your baby to start developing those chewing movements.

These movements are crucial for your baby to eventually start eating table foods and to start talking, and even helps to reduced their gag reflex as they start eating finger foods.
